Thank you to the over 100 guests that were able to attend CAP’s launch event! We were so encouraged by the strong support on the day and the sense of anticipation as CAP launches publicly. Many of the church pastors and leaders attending expressed interest in partnering with CAP, working alongside them in their churches and community-based activities, helping people out of poverty in all it’s forms beginning with financial poverty.
Also attending and supporting CAP’s work helping people out of poverty, were representatives from MABS; the Insolvency Service of Ireland and the Association of Personal Insolvency Practitioners (PIPs for short) with whom CAP will also partner on a referral basis. Saint Vincent de Paul was also represented and we look forward to developing a working relationship with them too. Also attending was a business partner with a view to working with CAP in Ireland helping to assist some of their clients with payment arrears.
Here are the slides presented on the day and for those that couldn’t make it we hope it gives you a sense of the heart and passion CAP has for helping people out of poverty:

We are grateful to the Leadership Team of Trinity Church Network for their support and so graciously giving CAP use of The Exchange.
We’re also delighted that John Kirkby, the founder of CAP in the UK in 1996, will be attending in person. John came to faith in Jesus while working in the financial services sector in Bradford, he then followed God’s leading to start up CAP, helping those affected by debt.
We look forward to welcoming you and please register – one registration per person attending. Please note that while this is a free event including light refreshments, we do appreciate you letting us know in advance.

While there will be no online/virtual public launch on the day, CAP IRL will offer regional presentations around the country from Oct-Nov. If you or your church are interested in hosting, please contact Alan.
